Widows “Croc” Video Premiere on Noisey & Boom Bip Remix

Widows “Croc” Video Premiere on Noisey & Boom Bip Remix
Directed by Sam Macon.

Shot in London and Los Angeles, the first video from the Widows EP was premiered on Noisey last night! “Croc” sees Jimmy Jams and Bobby Evans take to the streets for their debut video as Widows, from Ridley Road Market to that tunnel in Downtown LA and summons the juxtaposed essence of tropical optimism with impending disaster. Albeit through Jimmy’s lyrical genius and Bobby’s banging drums rather than actual apocalyptic scenes.

Directed by the on and only Sam Macon (the Chicago-based filmmaker with a penchant for shooting underground Californian bands – his Kenneth Anger-inspired video for Crocodiles was that premiered on NOWNESS earlier in the year followed an epic Sleepy Sun video), “Croc” also features footage from the Widows EP London release party with Dabrye, Kutmah, Hit+Run, Darkhouse Fam and last minute guests Flying Lotus and Ras G.

For the full force Widows experience, pair this with the Widows two drum gallery performance film, directed by Carlos Carneiro.
